This study examines Irish teenagers' ideas about sexuality, sex education, and factors that influence their sexual behaviour and choices. The authors present comprehensive data pertaining to adolescent sexuality, including sexual initiation, contraceptive use, STD awareness, pregnancy, sources of knowledge about sex, pressure to engage in sexual activity, and sexual values and norms.
