This article looks at Canadian youth rates of STD infection, pregnancy, abortion, prevalence of sexual activity, and age at first intercourse. It discusses the history of teenage sexuality and demonstrates that current social, educational, and economic practices have encouraged an unnatural extension of adolescence and a delay of marriage and reproduction.
