This study raises concerns about the increased levels of substance abuse, particularly alcohol abuse, on American college campuses.  It emphasizes the risks and consequences associated with excessive alcohol consumption, and finds that more students than ever are getting drunk regularly.  It argues that since college students are an essential part of America's future, action must be taken to address this problem.
