This paper reviews data on adolescent sexual activity in Vietnam and examines correlations between adolescent life experiences, sexual risk-taking, and reproductive health. Drawing on their findings concerning the relationship between adolescent employment and risky sexual activity, the authors suggest that a lack of employment opportunities for adolescents may pose the greatest threat to their reproductive health.
