Using estimates from data collected by the 2003 Canadian Community Health Survey, this paper reports on condom use and the prevalence of sexually transmitted disease among 15 to 24 year olds. The paper examines the data by age, gender and region and concludes that the rate of STDs among young people is high, while condom use remains erratic.
