This report provides estimates of the number of arrests for child pornography possession in the United States, particularly in connection with internet-related sex crimes.  It describes the characteristics of offenders, the nature of the pictures they possess, and how they came to the attention of the criminal justice system.  It also looks at the extent to which offenders distribute child pornography and commit other sexual crimes against juveniles.
