This paper studies the correlation between the use of pornography and the commission of sexually violent offenses. While it finds that pornography does not explicitly cause or lead to sexual offenses, it does perpetuate a male-dominated view of sexuality, provide a training manual for those who will abuse, and make it difficult for the viewer to separate fantasy from real life.
