This report asked 16 individuals about their experiences as donor offspring to identify issues that counsellors and psychotherapists should be aware of when counselling donor offspring.  The report found that identity issues and low self-esteem are sometimes problematic for offspring adjusting to new knowledge that they are donor-conceived.
