This paper provides an in-depth look at the pyschological and sociological determinants of criminal behaviour, including lack of parental discipline, fatherless families, domestic violence, and parental abuse or neglect. Family structure, beliefs and practices, as well as the level of stability in the home, are seen to have a significant impact on crime rates.
