This paper examines the prevalence of media use among children 0 – 6 years old in comparison with the American Academy of Pediatircs media-use guidelines. The paper concludes that many children within the age 3 – 6 span were within the AAP guidelines, most children age 0 – 2 were not. The paper calls for further research on the developmental impact of media exposure.
