This paper presents information from a number of focus groups on the social, legal, familial, health and financial problems faced by grandparents who are the primary caregivers for their grandchildren. It also discusses the educational, emotional and adjustment challenges faced by children who are being raised by grandparents. Lastly it looks at a variety of resources for grandparent-headed households.
