This book examines the prevalence,  repurcussions, prevention, and treatment of parental mental health problems in the US. It looks at how parental psychological well-being affects parenting abilities and child mental and emotional health, and it offers suggestions for improving outcomes for families affected by mental health issues. It also discusses the removal of children from parental custody in cases of mental disability or disorder.
