This study, based on data from the 1991 National Survey of Men, looks at men's beliefs about their role, in relation to women's, in making decisions pertaining to sex, contraception, and the care of children.  It also looks at specific individual and couple characteristics that affect the way men respond, and identifies groups of men that are likely to respond in a particular way.
