This study investigates the dynamics of violence by children towards their mothers, and explores the contributing role of male-perpetrated spousal assault, corporal punishment, and child abuse to this behaviour. It also examines the prevalence of children's violence towards their mother, and analyses age and gender patterns in the perpetration of this form of violence.
