This paper examines the relationship between marital instability, earnings, and job stability among young men.  Specifically, it examines the effects of high wages and job stability on marriage prospects; the effects of marriage and union stability on wages and job prospects; and the effects of labour market and educational shocks on employment and marital outcomes.
