This study found that, although most young people hope and expect to enter into a lasting marriage, in reality their dating culture does not lay the foundations for this. It also found that most young people support cohabitation as a good way to get to know each other better, many are pessimistic about their chances of finding a life partner, and many see marriage as a financial risk. At the same time, however, young people are increasingly turning to marriage education classes in the hope that this will help them build better relationships.
