This paper analyzes a number of variables among premarital couples for the purpose of assisting in the formation of a premarital assessment instrument. Using the Sound Marital House Theory, this paper reveals that enough relationship risk variables exist at the time of marriage to justify further action in constructing a premarital assessment instrument.
