This article studies trends in marital homogamy in Norway by analysing four cohorts born between 1900 and 1949.  It examines the tendency of men and women to marry someone of similar educational standing and documents a decrease in this trend in Norway over time.  The authors suggest that this is indicative of greater interactions between different groups in society.
