This survey of 2000 Canadians living near London Ontario explored attitudes towards having children out of wedlock.  The study found that respondents who held more liberal views of gender division of labour, had a smaller ideal family size, were less religious and whose first relationship was a cohabitating union, were more likely to have a positive attitude towards nonmarital childbearing.
