This paper investigates whether or not family time constraints cause Americans to cut back on their religious activities.  It finds that, on the whole, Americans maintain their church commitments and personal devotions despite numerous work and family-related demands on their time.  It also finds that parents are more likely than non-parents to be involved in religious activities.
