This article looks at rates of church attendance in Canada between 1988 and 1999, as well as factors which influence these rates. It finds that rates are lowest for individuals in their mid to late 20's but that both marriage and children increase religious attendance. It also suggests that people who attend church regularly feel a greater sense of belonging and are more likely to become involved in their communities.
