This paper highlights some of the effects of pornography, including desensitization, increased aggression, and catharsis.  The effects are grouped into two main categories: "powerful effects" and "limited effects." It also attempts to go beyond typical research of the effects of pornography by explaining how pornography is being used both socially and politically.
