Previous studies have confirmed associations between increased screen time and obesity, inactivity and poor diet. This article uses data from the Canadian Community Health Survey to profile adults who frequently watch television or use a computer during leisure time. Young adults, and people with higher levels of education are associated with frequent leisure computer use, while those who are employed full-time spend less leisure time in front of a screen than those who are unemployed.
