In this paper the authors argue that the "Ten-Point Coalition," a group of Boston clergy, has played an instrumental role in responding to, and reducing, youth violence and homicide in the city of Boston.  It discusses the hostility that historically marked relations between youth and police, and highlights the gains that the Ten Point Coalition has made in building better relations between these two parties.
