This document examines the religious commitment and participation of Canadians and reports that an estimated one third of the population regularly attends religious services. Approximately 56% of Canadians surveyed consider themselves to be religious. This paper also explores the significant potential for increasing religious participation amongst those who consider themselves to be religious yet do not attend church or other faith services.
