This paper explores possible predictors of divorce in the Czech Republic, a country with very high rates of marital dissolution.  Factors that may increase divorce risk are: being an only child, experiencing parental divorce, living independently at a young age, cohabiting before marriage, marrying at a young age, and having no children.
