This paper uses data from the 2000 US census to provide an overview of the characteristics and well-being of children who live in immigrant families.  It provides information on parental marital status, family income, parental employment, housing tenure, and parental education.  The paper also documents a significant increase in the number of immigrant children in the United States during the 1990s.
