This paper discusses the negative effect that moving can have on children's educational attainment, academic performance, and employment outcomes as young adults.  It suggests that family economic status and neighbourhood context are important in determining whether or not moving has a detrimental effect on children, and argues that it is important to look at the factors that affect where, when, and why families move.
