This study examines the average number of daily hours Canadian teens spend on housework, paid work and school-related activities. The study concludes that the average teens’ workweek is comparable to that of adults doing similar activities. The study also found that the amount of time teens spend on homework and housework is influenced by family form and parental characteristics.
