This paper examines the distribution of childbearing in Austria and finds evidence of an increasing concentration of reproduction.  It finds that more and more women are choosing to remain childless, with the result being that fewer and fewer women are bearing all of the children.  It also finds that this phenomenon is most significant in urban settings.
