This report presents the findings of a 2002 survey that asked teens and their parents about their attitudes on substance abuse and the role that siblings play in either encouraging or discouraging abuse.  It outlines some factors that affect a teen's level of risk for substance misuse.  It also discusses the availability of drugs in schools and highlights the heightened risk faced by young people in the early teen years.  The surveys used for this study are provided in the appendices.
