This paper examines characteristics of nonresident fathers' involvement with their children and parenting styles that affect children's adjustment in adolescence.   It finds that engaging in leisure or recreational activities with nonresident children does not affect their well-being.  However, adolescents who are able to talk about personal issues with their nonresident fathers tend to score higher on evaluations of adjustment.
