This paper discusses the differential rate of parental economic support for adult children between racial groups, and demonstrates that African-American and Hispanic parents give less than white parents.  It finds that this is largely due to racial differences in parental income and wealth.  It shows, however, that black and Hispanic parents offer many non-financial benefits to their children that serve to compensate for their lack of financial resources.
