This paper looks at the impact of the aging population, particularly in regards to the effect it has on caregivers in Canada. It examines characteristics of care receivers, the source of care they receive, and their living arrangements. It also profiles caregivers and identifies numerous consequences of caregiving, including financial difficulties, decreased health, and employment complications.
