Using data from the National Longitudinal Survey of Children and Youth (NLSCY) and other national data sources, this report assesses Saskatoon children’s outcomes in terms of family background, family processes, and community factors and discerns how to improve the impact of these factors.  Although most Saskatoon children live in “high-quality, safe neighbourhoods with a high level of social support,” a high percentage of them have behavioural problems.
