This book looks extensively at work–life conflict and, more specifically, at role overload, work to family inference, family to work interference, and caregiver strain. It finds that many Canadians are struggling to balance all their responsibilities, resulting in physical and mental health problems, and poor job performance. This book also offers suggestions to employees, employers, governments and unions, which are intended to help create more work-life balance on both individual and national levels.
