This article examines the work-life balance of Canadian full-time shift workers between the ages of 19 and 64. The study reports shift-workers tend to be less satisfied with their work-life balance, and are more likely to worry about not spending enough time with family. Night-shift workers are more likely to spend less time with a spouse but more time with children than daytime workers.
