This paper discusses different options for sex education, with a particular focus on the situation in North Carolina.  It argues that the abstinence message has been effective and that comprehensive sexuality education programs focus exclusively on the physical side of sexuality, failing to take into account the spiritual, moral, and psychological consequences of sexual activity.
