This paper discusses efforts in the United States to pass legislation that requires sex educators to provide adolescents only with information pertaining to sexuality  that is deemed "medically accurate."  The authors argue that this initiative is designed to undermine abstinence education and to promote the agenda of comprehensive sexuality education curricula.
