This paper outlines the indicators used by the Fraser Institute to measure the performance of Alberta's elementary schools. It also explains the relevance of such indicators to the accurate assessment of the state of education in the province. Lastly, it provides the report card for Alberta elementary schools for the years 1997-2003.
