This large-scale, longitudinal study evaluated four elementary school level reading programs that aimed at increasing literacy proficiency. The four programs, Corrective Reading, Failure Free Reading, Spell Read P.A.T., and Wilson Reading incorporated systematic instruction in basic reading skills.
