This paper provides an overview of the National Longitudinal Survey of Children and Youth (NLSCY) for 1994-1995. The purpose of the survey and analysis of the date is useful in determining how certain environmental factors will influence child outcomes over time. The data was collected from 22,831 children from birth to the age of 11.
