This paper examines the extent to which resident and nonresident fathers are involved in their children's education, and the impact their involvement has on children's academic achievement. The research indicates that parental educational involvement is a significant factor in the level of learning and attainment experienced by school children, and it finds that when fathers are involved in the educational process, children achieve better academic results.
