This paper explores the relationship between particpation in early childhood education centres and programs, and high school drop out rates. It finds that participation in the Child-Parent Center (CPC) program significantly decreased rates of school drop out. It acknowledges that other factors, such as family and student characteristics, also have an impact, but focuses mainly on the effect of early educational intervention on the probability of high school completion.
