This paper demonstrates that most adults in the United States support age-appropriate sex education in schools. It demonstrates that most believe that students should learn about contraception, although they wish to see abstinence promoted as the ideal. It also finds that more than one in four Americans believe that sex education should occur in the home, rather than in the school.
