This paper studies the form, function, and effectiveness of marriage education courses and programs by briefly examining relevant literature and research. It discusses the training of marriage educators, the structure of marriage education courses, the Marriage Education Research Project, and marriage education for people in cohabiting relationships, second marriages, or other special circumstances.
