This article looks at the impact of family transitions, such as divorce and seperation, on the amount of delinquent behaviour exhibited by adolescents in the family. The article provides the findings of a study, performed in three cites over a ten year period, which indicate that a greater number of family transitions coincide with more delinquent behaviour and adolescent drug use.
