This report provides information about the rates and types of juvenile offending, and examines age, race, and sex differences in delinquency and detention. It also discusses the processing and prosecution of delinquency cases and documents increasing rates of juvenile offending, giving special attention to crimes against the person, as well as drug and weapons offences.
