This report presents information pertaining to the incidences and patterns of homicide in Australia for 1999-2000.  Among other things, it found that rates remained fairly stable compared to previous years, that stabbing remained the most common method of killing, that unemployed individuals were most likely to become victims or offenders, and that in the majority of homicides, the perpetrator was someone known by the victim.
