This report provides information on the abuse of alcohol and illegal drugs by full-time workers, and it discusses the characteristics and occupations of drug users.  Findings suggest that construction workers and waiters have the highest rates of use, while teachers, detectives, and administrative personnel have the lowest.  Unmarried workers and those who change jobs frequently also have elevated rates of use.
